2019 Toyota RAV4 Specs & Features

By now you're probably aware that there's an all-new 2019 Toyota RAV4 coming within the next several months, and we cannot wait for it. We wanted to give you some information on the specs & features of the crossover, but unfortunately, most of the important specifications are still unannounced, so instead, we're going to focus on two of the most exciting aspects of the vehicle: the audio system and safety features.

"Toyota is committed to giving customers more of what they want - and as our best-selling vehicle, it's clear that many Canadians want the RAV4, and will be thrilled with this all-new version. There is so much that's new about this vehicle - from its platform, to its bold design and refined cabin. Best of all, the Hybrid version of this will be built in Canada, joining its conventional gas-engine cousin at our RAV4 assembly plant."

- Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc.

JBL Audio System

The upcoming RAV4 will come outfitted with a fantastic JBL audio system that we cannot wait to experience for ourselves. The system includes two horn tweeters, an 800-watt HiD8 amplifier, two wide-dispersion speakers located in the instrument panel, two more wide-dispersion speakers located in the front doors, two full-range speakers in the rear doors, and a ported subwoofer with enclosure. The system also features Clari-Fi technology so that you're getting the best audio quality possible no matter what you're listening to.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.0

For the 2019 model year, a few Toyota vehicles will feature the next-generation of their advanced suite of safety technologies: Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. All of the features that were in the original version of the package return, several of them with enhancements, and one new technology has been added to the suite called Lane Tracing Assist. The LTA system is a huge step towards automated driving, providing steering assistance to drivers to make sure you stay in your lane on the highway.
