The final tally in a long string of Toyota new-model announcements for the 2019 model year, we’re extremely excited about the updated Yaris Sedan this year. It’s unclear at this time if there will be a hatchback version of the Yaris this year, but we do know that the sedan version will simply be referred to as the 2019 Toyota Yaris. With a release date of this coming fall, the all-new 2019 Yaris will be available across Canada in just a few short months, and we cannot wait.
“The 2019 Toyota Yaris sedan offers an exceptional blend of efficiency, fun, comfort and safety all at a reasonable price. Is this combination too much to ask of an entry subcompact vehicle? The new Yaris answers with a resounding, “No!”

What’s new in the 2019 Yaris?
Perhaps the most exciting change for the 2019 model year is that the Yaris will now feature a premium trim level, which is rare for entry-level sedans like this subcompact. The XLE grade will feature an increased collection of standard features like automatic LED headlights, illuminated entry, and the rain-sensing windshield wipers. It’ll also feature a rear lip spoiler, which is new for the Yaris.
Additionally, the 16” wheels – which are exclusive to the XLE trim level – feature a new dark gunmetal finish, while every model is available in a new exterior color simply called Ceramic. Finally, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control is now a standard safety feature across the board in the all-new 2019 Toyota Yaris.
