2018 Toyota Prius Prime Canadian Release Date

It has now become official, the exciting and impressive Toyota Prius Prime will be joining the 2018 model year and expanding its market across Canada. As we informed you a few months ago, the Prius Prime started with a test market in Quebec. Well, over the course of the 7-month test period, over 700 Prius Prime models were sold. That's a pretty successful test, so Toyota Canada has decided to release the 2017 World Green Car across the country.

We thought we'd just quickly touch on the Prius Prime plug-in hybrid's efficiency and range once more, to remind you of just how incredible this machine is. You know it must be quite efficient to earn a title like World Green Car, and it certainly is. Combined across city and highway driving, it achieves an equivalent of 1.8 l/100km on a full battery charge and can travel over 1,000 kilometres on one charge accompanied by a full tank of gas.
