This morning, Toyota officially unveiled the all-new 2019 Toyota Avalon at the North American International Auto Show. With the updated Avalon, Toyota has risen the bar once again, this time in the full-size, premium sedan segment. The Avalon has been completely reimagined as it enters its fifth generation, and we couldn’t be more stoked about the new product. It’s scheduled to be released across Canada late this spring, so we’ll be sure to give you all kinds of information and details on what it has to offer before then, starting today with a broad look at some of its updates.

“Avalon is a strong indicator of our commitment to this evolving premium segment, and when it goes on sale late this spring it’ll be available in four grades: XLE, Limited, XSE, and Touring. Avalon and its grades speak to our guests’ captivation with design, dynamics, and a higher level of luxury. At the same time, they reaffirm Avalon’s reputation for having the highest quality, durability, reliability, and safety in the segment.”

What’s new in the 2019 Avalon?
There are far too many new things in the 2019 Avalon to cover in one blog, so today we’ll just highlight our two favorite things in the all-new, full-size Sedan, starting with its engine options. You can opt for either a 3.5L V6 engine or a more efficient 2.5L 4-cylinder. We don’t yet have exact specifications for either, but we expect both to offer more power and efficiency than previous iterations.
Finally, most exciting in our opinion, shoppers will be able to opt for an available JBL sound system that is 1200 watts and features 14 speakers with 7.1-channel surround sound. With outstanding hardware and software combined, your music has never sounded better inside an automobile. Remember to keep checking back for further updates here on the Go Toyota on the Trail blog.
