A few months ago, we gave you an in-depth look at the revised 2018 Prius c subcompact hatchback, and now the next member of the Prius family is ready to move into the 2018 model year. The Canadian release date of the 2018 Toyota Prius v is still up in the air, but now that we’ve got details on what’s new in the model we expect it to arrive here in Edmonton within the next several weeks. If we get a more definitive date soon, we’ll be sure to fill you in with an update right here!
“Prius is the world’s most recognized name for advanced and efficient motoring, and the Prius v builds on that reputation – making it a very popular vehicle with Canadian drivers looking for the space of a small SUV with the efficiency of a hybrid. We’re pleased to announce the 2018 Toyota Prius v, enhanced with additional advanced safety technologies, to give Canadians even more reasons to welcome this stylish, versatile and forward-thinking hybrid into their lives.”

What’s new in the 2018 Prius v?
The Prius v wagon, which some are now beginning to call a crossover, continues to combine the space and versatility of a utility vehicle with the fuel efficiency of a hybrid sedan. Changes for the 2018 model year include standard Toyota Safety Sense P and a new 4.2” multi-information display screen embedded in the instrument cluster. Safety Sense P now being standard is huge, as the Prius v is most often considered a family vehicle.
