“Canadians already love the Toyota RAV4 and RAV4 Hybrid, making this built-in-Canada SUV our most popular – and for 2018 the new Trail version gives active Canadians even more to love. Just in time for the colder weather, there’s no stopping Canadians eager to get to the best spots for their ATV, or snowmobile in sporty style.”

In the RAV4 Trail, many different aspects of the vehicle both inside and out have been upgraded with unique design cues. The scuff plates on the Trail model’s doors are unique to it, the halogen headlamps feature black bezels while the fog lamp surrounds are black as well, the all-weather floor mats and cargo mat feature unique Trail badging, while the interior trim panels are unique to the model as well. Finally, the Trail offers a leather-wrapped shift knob and 18” five-spoke black alloy wheels that are unique to the model as well.
As for upgraded features, we’ve already mentioned some of them in the design section: halogen headlamps, fog lamps, all-weather mats, and larger wheels. Additionally, the RAV4 trail offers R-speed tires, over-fender flares, retuned- suspension, a 120-volt/100-watt outlet in the cargo area and the Tow Prep Package. The package includes an upgraded radiator and additional coolers for engine oil and transmission fluids.
As for improved specs, only one thing really changes and that’s towing capacity from the included Tow Prep Package. The RAV4 Trail is capable of towing 3,500 pounds in addition to its regular payload.
