For the 2018 model year, the Toyota Yaris Hatchback will be receiving another exciting facelift – its second since the third-generation model was introduced in 2010. The new version of the hatchback will be releasing across Canada sometime in the next couple of months, featuring plenty of styling updates to the interior, exterior and even wheels and an increase in standard features when it comes to safety and comfort. Furthermore, shoppers will now be able to choose between 3- or 5-door models.

“Canadians love smaller cars, and the Yaris Hatchback demonstrates why. For 2018, we’ve kept the driving fun and efficiency that makes Yaris a popular choice, then enhanced it with new style plus more safety and comfort features. This year, there’s even more to love about Yaris.”
– Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada
What’s new in the 2018 Toyota Yaris Hatchback?
To expand upon the updates we mentioned above, we’ll start with the exterior of the all-new 2018 Yaris Hatchback. Both the front and rear fascias feature new design cues and overall style, while the hatchback sedan’s wheels have been completely redesigned. On the inside, the 3- and 5-door Yaris models have a new, revised trim running throughout the cabin.
As for features, both the driver and front passenger will be much more comfortable through our harsh winters thanks to standard heated front seats. Drivers will also be able to drive with greater sense of confidence behind the wheel thanks to both a standard backup camera and standard Hill-start Assist Control.
Mix these updates with the quick 1.5L 4-cylinder engine that powers the 2018 Toyota Yaris Hatchback, and you’ve got a pretty incredible small sedan. If you think you’ll be interested in the new model when it arrives very soon, be sure to give us a call or schedule a preemptive test drive here on our website.
