2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Fuel Efficiency & Power
In today’s market, hybrid vehicles don’t necessarily have to sacrifice power to offer superior fuel efficiency. The 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is a good example of this new practice. The compact crossover is powered by a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that doles out a nice 194 horsepower – plenty of power to enjoy your experience behind the wheel. Yet even though it offers that nice chunk of power, it still manages to achieve a combined fuel efficiency of 7.3 l/100km.
Thanks to its Hybrid Synergy Drive technology, the RAV4 Hybrid only utilizes 6.9 litres of fuel every 100 kilometres it drives through the city, and only 7.8 l/100km on the highway. That’s extremely impressive for a crossover like the 2017 RAV4.
