2016 Halloween Trick or Treat Times Edmonton AB
Thanksgiving has come and gone, which not only means it’s time to start thinking about buying Christmas presents for family and friends, but that Halloween is just around the corner. When Halloween weekend arrives, the weather might be pretty cold. So if you don’t want your kids doing traditional trick or treating because they might freeze, then we’ve got some times and places for you to check out here in Edmonton where you can take them to trick or treat indoors away from the cold.
West Edmonton Mall
Considered the world’s largest indoor trick or treat festival, Halloween at the West Edmonton Mall might be one of the best choices for trick or treating inside this year. Kids will be able to collect a candy bag and map at the Centre Stage, and then they’ll be able to navigate the mall to find the best tricks and treats that participating retailers have to offer. Kids older than 13 are not allowed to participate, and trick or treating starts at 2:00 p.m. on Halloween day.

While the Halloween Spooktacular at Northgate Center doesn’t offer the traditional door-to-door trick or treat experience like WEM, kids will get to decorate their own candy bag, play spooky games, win prizes and even take pictures with special guests. Plus, at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 p.m., Hazel the Witch will be sharing haunted tales. The event runs from 1-4:00 p.m. on Saturday the 29th.
Bonnie Doon Centre
Finally, you can take the kids to Halloween Thrills at Bonnie Doon Centre on Halloween from 5-8:00 p.m. This last event offers some form of trick or treating, a live bubble show, a photo booth, balloon artists, interactive crafts, games and much more!
All three of these shopping centres promise to deliver a very fun Halloween experience, with plenty of Candy to hold kids over for days to come. Wherever you choose to do your trick or treating this year, we hope you enjoy your Halloween 2016!
