2019 Toyota Supra Release Rumors
If you were around in the 1990s, then you might just recognize one of the iconic vehicles pictured above and below. These days, Toyota is known for delivering some of the most efficient vehicles on the market, but back in the day Toyota was churning out sporty vehicles like the Celica and Supra. Now, after years of hopes and wishes, we’ve heard quite a few 2019 Toyota Supra release rumors, and we cannot wait for them to be confirmed.

Toyota has teamed up with luxury sports brand BMW to create the newest version of the iconic sports car, as well as the next BMW Z5. Much like Toyota teamed up with Subaru for the 86 and BRZ, and Mazda for the 2016 Yaris and Mazda2, BMW will partner with Toyota to design and build the two vehicles in Austria.
Obviously, not much is known about the future model at this point. But we’ve heard plenty of rumors, especially about a possible powertrain. It is expected to offer both a 4-cylinder and V6 engine, as many non-luxury performance cars do today. We expect the I4 will likely be turbocharged and pushing 400 horsepower alongside 300 pound-feet of torque.
As you could probably tell by the title of this blog, we expect the all-new Supra will be marketed as a 2019 model year vehicle. Obviously that means it’s still a long way off, so we don’t know any exact release date, but it should be available at some point in 2018. We also expect the entry-level price to be around $40,000 USD.
As more information becomes available on the 2019 Toyota Supra we’ll be sure to fill you in right here on our website, so keep checking back.
