A couple of months ago we gave word that the 2017 Toyota Corolla will be making its way to Canada with quite a few updates before the end of the year, but we haven’t followed up since then. So today we thought we’d dive a little bit further into what’s new in the 2017 Toyota Corolla, to give you a better idea of what’s to come.
As the 2017 Toyota Corolla won’t be completely remodeled from the ground up, like the 2016 Toyota Prius was for this year, the changes and updates aren’t particularly substantial. However, most of the changes revolve around the vehicle’s exterior aesthetic. As drivers’ style and preferences changes, so to should the style of vehicles, which is exactly what Toyota had in mind for the refreshed 2017 Corolla.
Toyota still hasn’t revealed exactly what changes were made to the exterior design, but you can look at the two pictures below to get a better idea of what’s going to be different in the new model. Outside of design changes, the 2017 Corolla will also receive a few new and enhanced features. Namely, Toyota Safety Sense will now be included in the vehicle. Safety Sense includes safety features like the pre-collision system, dynamic radar cruise control and lane departure alert among others.
When will the 2017 Toyota Corolla be released in Canada?
While we still don’t have an exact Canadian release date, we do know that the vehicle will be making its way to dealerships across the country in September of this year. That means the 2017 Toyota Corolla will be available for test drives in roughly three months’ time! We cannot wait to make it available to all of you, so be sure to schedule a test drive early to insure your chance to get behind the wheel of one when they release. If you have any questions before then, feel free to give us a call here at the sales desk.
