2016 Easter Egg Hunts Edmonton AB
We’re getting down to the wire already, but in case you weren’t aware – Easter is right around the corner! Unlike some holidays where it occurs on the same date each year – Christmas, for example – Easter is determined by the lunar cycle, and can occur anywhere between March 22nd and April 25th every year. This year, the big day is March 27th, and since it’s sneaking up so quick we thought we’d give you a few ideas for 2016 Easter Egg Hunts in the Edmonton AB area for you to check out.

Easter with the Walters
The first egg hunt we thought we’d take a look at is Easter with the Walters, which will be held at the John Walter Museum. On March 24th from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. you can join Mrs. Walter at her 1920 home to not just hunt throughout the family’s home for eggs, but also bake traditional Easter pastries, weave baskets and discover beautiful natural eggs in the pantry. The price is $24 per child, and children must be accompanied by an adult to attend.
Annual Easter Egg Hunt
If you live a little outside Edmonton or aren’t afraid to travel a bit, you can head to the Multicultural Heritage Centre in Stony Plain for their Annual Easter Egg Hunt. It will take place on March 26th at 10:30 a.m. and run until noon. The hunt only costs $3 per child, but make sure they bring their own baskets!
Lastly, you can head to the Rutherford House on Easter Sunday from noon to 4:00 p.m. for their annual Easter Eggstravaganza. Children will be able to explore the whole home looking for their Easter eggs, while enjoying fresh cookies and crafts. The children will even be visited by the Easter Bunny at some point during the event, so you don’t want to miss this one!
No matter what you decide to do for your Easter holiday this year, we simply want to wish you a Happy Easter from everyone here at Go Toyota on the Trail. We hope you enjoy the weekend when it arrives!
