What is Bird’s Eye View Monitoring?
Each year automotive brands like Toyota and Scion release new and exciting vehicles. Sometimes they are remodels of existing vehicles and sometimes they are completely new models. Either way, these new models often come with new never before seen features. Recently Toyota revealed the 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and with it they also released a new featured called “bird’s eye view monitoring”. Today we’re going to answer the question, “What is Bird’s Eye View Monitoring?”, to help you get to know this new feature.
This all-new available feature provides a way for drivers to see what is happening all around the vehicle. The Bird’s Eye View Monitoring system uses cameras to give the driver a panoramic view of their surroundings. This includes an industry-first Perimeter Scan feature that gives the driver a 360 degree view of what is around the RAV4. This helps the driver see potential hazards or obstacles. This feature is particularly helpful when it comes to parking in busy areas.
Another exciting feature with the 2016 Toyota RAV4 is an available 4.2-inch TFT multi-information screen with a 7-inch touchscreen display audio system that are located inside of the dash, which is created with premium materials. It will also have an additional USB added to the front as well as a 12V power outlet in the rear of the vehicle. The 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid is an innovative vehicle and we can’t wait to see whatever it has to offer.
While an official release date hasn’t been announced yet, we can’t wait until the 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid arrives here at Toyota Scion on the Trail. We encourage you to check back here often to learn more about future Toyota and Scion vehicles and when you can expect their arrival in Edmonton AB.
