Toyota RAV4 Hybrid in Canada
Toyota is known for designing vehicles that use alternative fuel. They have one of the largest hybrid lineups in the automotive industries. Their hybrids aren’t just small compact cars, but they now have crossover options too. It was recently announced that a hybrid version of the popular Toyota RAV4 is in production. Toyota is planning to reveal this all-new vehicle at the 2015 New York Auto Show. The auto show will take place April 3-12 and a number of exciting vehicles are predicted to be revealed. The only other large size crossover hybrid Toyota has right now is the Highlander hybrid which runs on both electricity and its gas engine. There isn’t much information about this exciting new version of the RAV4. Toyota has a pledge to continue extending its hybrid technology across its lineup. Toyota hopes that families are willing to spend a little extra money for a vehicle that will save gas and decrease emissions.
This is is another step in the right direction for Toyota. They are also working on a Toyota fuel cell technology that will provide a hydrogen powered vehicle. The vehicle right now is called the Toyota Mirai and is said to be able to travel 483 km (300 miles) on a single tank of hydrogen. Toyota is always looking to the future when it comes to creating vehicles with alternative fuel.
