A few weeks ago, we talked about the upcoming reveal of the 2016 Toyota Tacoma. Well the time has come, and the Tacoma was officially unveiled this week at the North American International Auto Show. Now that we have seen the new Tacoma, there is a lot more information out there about the 2016 Toyota Tacoma features and what has been updated since the last model.
The 2016 Toyota Tacoma has been remodeled inside and out with new powertrain and improved suspension tuning. The new Tacoma is ready for adventure whether its on the road or off. This midsize truck has been part of the Toyota lineup since 1964 and it has come a long way since then. The 2016 Tacoma now has updated interior and exterior styling. The front end has a bold upper grille with high technology headlights and projection beam lamps with available LED Daytime Running Lights. There is also a new locking tailgate that give the Tacoma improved aerodynamics and a new easy lowering function that allows it to slowly retract, that prevents it from slamming down.
The Tacoma has also received some technology upgrades to make the interior even more enjoyable and user friendly. Some available premium interior features include Qi wireless charging, smart key with push-button start, power moonroof, leather-trimmed seats, dual zone automatic climate control, enhanced touchscreen audio, Blind-spot monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and more. Each Tacoma will also come standard with a GoPro mount which will allow drivers to easily capture their adventures.
