One long-standing partnership the Toyota Canada Foundation has is with the Traffic Injury Research Foundation (TIRF). This foundation if Canada’s road safety research institute. It was created in 1964 and is the world leader in research, program and policy development. It’s mission is to reduce deaths and injuries resulting from road crashes. Toyota Canada has been a partner of this foundation since 2002 and together they have: explored young driver issues, examined the characteristics of young driver crashes, studied solutions to address it, developed a young and new driver resource centre. It is amazing what can be accomplished through partnerships.
